Are you looking to learn how to Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP), improve your skills or learn new tips and tricks?
Our new SUP Club will focus on different aspects of Stand-Up Paddleboarding each week, so you get to choose the sessions that best suit your needs.
Session topics will range from standing up and manoeuvring the board, to learning about tides and being safe on the water. There will also be river-specific sessions at our site in Durham City.
Joining SUP Club sessions is a great way to build confidence, meet like-minded paddlers, and enjoy a sociable, supportive environment while developing your skills on the water. Scroll down to book online!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?
- Swimwear to wear underneath the wetsuit we will provide
- Closed-toe footwear that you don’t mind getting wet (e.g. old trainers or wetsuit boots)
- A towel and a change of clothes for after the session
We will provide all of the necessary paddling and safety equipment.
WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE?
- A qualified instructor
- Paddleboards/kayaks/canoes and paddles
- Wetsuits and all of the required safety equipment
DO YOU HAVE CHANGING FACILITIES?
Yes, we have indoor changing facilities with hot showers and toilets on site. Please note, that our changing rooms are small and can fill up quickly during busy sessions. We advise customers to arrive with their swimwear on under their clothing ready to put on a wetsuit. We also suggest you bring a large towel to change in the car park after the activity if required.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
You should aim to arrive around 10 – 15 mins before the activity is due to start. You will receive a confirmation email after completing your booking detailing any specific arrival information.
