LIBBY - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Libby holds a BA (Hons) degree in Adventure Education, which gives her a thorough insight into engaging people in the outdoors and applying these skills to their general lives.

Before setting up Adventure Access, she spent 15 years teaching and assessing paddlesports qualifications. Libby has taught skiing in Canada and spent 3 years as a Sea Kayaking and Hiking Expedition Leader in New Zealand.

Libby has also worked in Special Educational Needs branches of schools, delivering Adventure Education and Forest Schools. In 2016 she received a national award for developing paddlesports programmes for visually and audially impaired children.

MADDY - CENTRE MANAGER

Maddy first discovered paddling as a child on summer camps and quickly fell in love with canoeing. As a teenager she worked at an activity centre hiring out boats, but knew she wanted to be out on the water, so qualified as a Paddlesport Instructor.

She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Outdoor Adventure and Environmental Studies and has worked as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN school, strengthening her experience around inclusive practice.

Maddy joined Adventure Access in 2022 as an Assistant Instructor and soon progressed to Lead Instructor before becoming Centre Manager. She holds the SUP Coach Award and brings a calm, supportive presence to her sessions, always focused on creating positive experiences for every participant.

CONNOR - GOOD BOY!!!

Connor is a fantastic office dog and member of the Adventure Access family. He is so well-behaved that you probably won’t even notice that he is there. You might spot him galloping around on the Slope Beach like a horse on his lunch break – when he gets one!
